The past week or so Ive been fighting with my scale. Its been really rough, I hated seeing 160lbs again, and worse yet it went up above 163lbs in the matter of just a couple of days. Seriously in a couple of days I gained SIX pounds. Holy hell! It was really depressing, and I eat when Im depressed, which makes me more depressed ah that cycle sucks. Thankfully the foods I did eat were all healthy and low fat, but it still did some damage. Luckily I have some really supportive friends who helped me just keep on plugging away without giving up like I usually do. This morning I was back down to 158.0lbs what a relief. Im still watching my fat intake, keeping it very low-well under 20% of my calories come from fat, in fact it looks like I usually hover around 10% total for the day. I have a 5k race in a week and would love to be at 156lbs by then. In theory I should be able to make it buy reducing my calories a little further and keeping up with exercise. Im going to give it a shot, the week after is a friends wedding and Id love to be under 155 and look smoking in my dress. Its a size 8, which I altered out, so probably a ten, I havent worn a size ten since I was ten. Seriously.

Shelley, you are doing great! Keep up the great work! BTW. I weighed in at 166.0 yesterday morning, and this morning I weighed in at 167.8. Don’t take the scale too seriously. There are going to be day to day fluctuations. A lot of that is just water. Heck, I have gone to the bathroom, and lost a couple pounds. Just keep eating healthy and exercising!
