Ahhhh!!! Im so frustrated. I hurt my knee back while exercising about a week and a half ago. I felt it coming on, it was something I was familiar with. I delt with this in November of 2006 and I didnt want this to get bad. Ive been doing too much running and not enough cross training, which for me ends up building certain muscles up and pulling my patella (knee cap) slightly off center which messes with the fluid underneath my knee cap. It takes 4-6 weeks to regenerate. Meanwhile Im trying desparately to drop more weight. I have a 5k race in a few days and Im worried my knee wont even hold up even for that distance. Since I have been laying off the running losing wieght has been really hard. Running is my stress release and if I cant work that out then Im pretty much perpetually stressed out. Which means I eat. Ive been eating low fat, but just WAY too much. I havent weighed myself in a few days in fear of what that scale will say! When I first started feeling that pain in my knee I was down to 156lbs!
