Almost before I could walk normally after my brutal half marathon I had heard of a 5 and 10k run in my city. I came home and googled it. April 13th, up El Travatore Hill. I became giddy at the thought of powering up that massive hill! I havent registered for it yet but I plan to ASAP. On the advice of some seasoned runners Im only doing the 5k, which is what I was leaning towards to anyway. I have a 5 weeks to prepare, I found an 8 week program that I will have to tweek. Im excited to start it! in 6 weeks I have a wedding to go to, and really want to fit into this killer dress, hopefully my 5k training and low fat eating will give me the nudge I need to start losing weight again!
