I found that  Krusteaz brand complete pancake mix makes a great waffle mix, its low fat too if you dont follow the waffle directions. 1 cup of water and 3/4 water combines is all you need.  The mix contains 2g of fat in half a cup of mix and 210 calories which comes out to about 8.5% calories from fat. I added 1tbs of cocoa powder and 1tbs of splenda to the mix and it turned out to be a great lightly chocolate flavoured waffle. A dollop of fat free whipped cream would be absolutly sinful on this.
